Chef Gordon Ramsay Celebrates 29th Wedding Anniversary With His Wife and Best Friend

Gordon and Tana Ramsay have once again marked another year of marriage, celebrating a remarkable 29 years together.

The couple, both widely admired for their professional accomplishments and commitment to family, commemorated the milestone on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Gordon, 59, shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

Reflecting on the years they have spent side by side, weathering life’s challenges and celebrating its triumphs. “29yrs ago I got to marry my best friend,” he wrote in the caption accompanying a series of throwback photographs from their wedding day as well as more recent snapshots of the couple enjoying everyday moments together.

How It All Began: From First Meeting to Marriage

Tana Ramsay first met Gordon on a memorable New Year’s Eve party when she was in her twenties. In a 2008 profile with The Guardian, she candidly described her initial impression of the young chef and restaurateur as “a complete arrogant arse.”

However, their story was far from over. Fate brought them together again at a flat Tana shared with a mutual friend, and this encounter sparked the connection that would ultimately lead to love and partnership.
