Mike Tyson recently revealed that his family urged him to start smoking marijuana again after he quit for just five days. The legendary boxer, who has long been a cannabis advocate, first started using weed as a young man and now owns his own cannabis company, Tyson 2.0, launched in 2021, which even opened a coffeeshop in Amsterdam.On his Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson podcast, Tyson shared that he spends about $40,000 a month on weed, highlighting how much he enjoys it.

He believes cannabis has transformed him positively, and even a short break leaves him feeling out of sorts. Tyson admitted he should have started smoking weed much earlier in life. During a recent appearance on the Confidence of Champions podcast, Tyson explained that his wife, Lakiha Spicer, and children became scared when he stopped smoking for less than a week. He reflected on how his personality is different when he’s not high, contrasting it with his drinking habits.
