A DNA Test Confirmed the Truth—Then an Unexpected Phone Call Changed Everything

My son Ryan’s college years were much like anyone else’s—busy, imperfect, and full of learning experiences. During his senior year, though, he sat me down and shared news that would change everything: his girlfriend, Shelly, was expecting a baby.
