“Earlier this evening, Julian and I finalized the secondary audit for the Vane-Global acquisition.”

Her expression faltered.

Vane-Global. The name echoed. The silent conglomerate that had been purchasing Aura Design’s debt for months—the shadow she couldn’t identify.

“What could you possibly know about that?” she snapped. “Those talks are confidential.”

“They aren’t confidential to me,” I replied, lifting my screen. “They’re mine.”

A glass shattered somewhere behind us.

I let the silence stretch.

“I know about the inferior steel used in your Dubai project,” I continued evenly. “The Cayman shell company. The twelve million redirected from the employee pension fund to finance this penthouse.”
