Former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and pop superstar Katy Perry have just shared ‘the craziest hard launch in the history of the free world’, according to fans.Perry and her ex Orlando Bloom confirmed they had called off their engagement in June 2025, with the performer’s latest song giving us some clues as to why that might have happened. But few would have predicted that she’d be dating a former prime minister by the end of the year.However, it wasn’t long until the ‘Hot N Cold’ singer was spotted with Justin Trudeau, who served as Canada’s prime minister from 2015 until his resignation at the start of this year, and there’s no denying that he’s far more good-looking than some of the old PMs we have here in the UK, as well as a certain overlord in the US.
It’s long been rumoured that the two have been dating, with the pair ‘soft launching’ each other with restaurant dates and trips, and they were even pictured playing tonsil tennis on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California back in July.But it seems as if they’ve now officially ‘hard-launched’ with Perry also seemingly entering the world of politics.Trudeau and Perry were joined by Japanese politician Fumio Kishida and his wife Yuko for a very Christmassy picture, which the member of the house of representatives of Japan proudly shared on social media, perhaps without realising that he was confirming their relationship.
