Everything became about searching, hoping, and surviving the uncertainty.
Community members joined the effort from the very beginning. Volunteers spent countless hours looking through forests, abandoned buildings, riverbanks, and rural backroads.
Flyers covered telephone poles and shop windows. Candlelight vigils were held every year on the anniversary of her disappearance. No one forgot her. No one gave up.
But despite extensive searches, tips, and investigative efforts, each lead ended the same way: with more questions than answers.
