Harry had an idea almost immediately.

“Why don’t you use it to buy a car?” he suggested.

I hesitated. The money felt sacred. “But I don’t know how to drive.”

“Why don’t you use it to buy a car?”

“That’s why I’ll drive you. I’ll take you to work, run errands, handle everything, darling. It’ll make our lives so much easier.”

I wanted to believe him.
