I was furious. And Liv? She just smirked.

So I hired a lawyer and filed my claim. At the next family dinner, I told them both. Their faces drained of color. Liv froze when she realized the mansion she’d been flaunting online wasn’t entirely hers to inherit. She may have believed she’d secured everything, but I made sure she received far less than she expected.
Now my father’s attitude toward me has changed completely. He thinks I’ve stripped Liv of her sense of security. There’s tension between them too—he accuses me of being selfish and jealous.
