“I own this building,” Rebecca replied, her voice steady. “And every asset tied to it.”
Vivian stepped forward, pale with fury.
“You signed everything away.”
“I signed exactly what was written,” Rebecca said. “And your family never read far enough.”
Audrey’s phone trembled in her hand as documents were presented, as accounts froze in real time, as whispers turned into stunned silence.
