The scandalous court hearing had filled the room․․․

— I am your daughter. I came here to show everyone that my mother and I are innocent, and to reveal the truth about the crimes you committed and tried to hide by sending her to prison.

These words shocked everyone. The judge, who had been smiling moments ago, turned pale. The girl’s mother had been convicted for crimes committed by the judge himself many years ago, when he was still a law student. He had shifted all the blame onto the woman to save himself.

The girl continued calmly: since her senior year, she had been gathering evidence, monitoring her father’s and the judge’s schemes, studying documents to prove her mother’s and her own innocence.
