🧐 What is the white stuff on the peach pit?

The white substance inside a peach pit can mean two things:

1.  Natural seed coating (normal and safe)

Every peach pit contains seeds – and these seeds are often covered with a soft, creamy-white or pale yellow layer. This is a  natural seed coat  that protects the embryo inside. This is completely normal and  harmless  .

This coating may become more visible as the fruit ripens or after harvesting, or it may begin to dissolve.
