A Department of Homeland Security officer has sparked outrage after being filmed kicking over a candle at a memorial honoring Renee Nicole Good, a Minneapolis mother of three who died during an encounter with an ICE agent. The video, first shared on Bluesky and later circulated on X, shows the officer wearing a “Police DHS” patch walking through a small memorial where Good’s name was written in chalk. In the clip, the officer knocks over a candle before confronting a nearby protester.
When asked what he thought the candle was for, he responds, “I don’t give a f***.” While the exact location of the memorial has not been confirmed, the footage has drawn widespread criticism. The video surfaced just one day after Good’s death, intensifying public anger already surrounding the incident.
