🧪 Is it safe to eat peaches?

Yes –  as long as the rest of the fruit looks and smells good  , you can eat the peach without hesitation, even if the pit has this white layer.

However, if the white substance  is moldy or spreading  , or if the peach shows any signs of  rot  , it is best to throw it  away  to avoid possible foodborne illnesses.
